On 13th February 2025, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers will unveil a true gem for whisky lovers: Mac-Talla Virgin Oak. This limited-edition whisky captures the rugged essence of Islay’s peaty heritage, softened and enriched by the alluring sweetness of virgin oak maturation. Priced at £74, this one-of-a-kind expression will be available across select markets, including the UK, Europe, Japan, Australia, and Israel.

This project began with a desire to demonstrate how the island of Islay can produce styles of whisky entirely distinct of one another. We wanted to produce something unique and exciting, similar to the sensory experience of drinking whisky and so we asked an artist to create some beautiful artwork that represents the different flavour profiles of each expression.

1st June 2023 is a memorable date for us as it commemorates the launch of our first Fèis Ìle Limited Edition released in the Mac-Talla range. 26 casks were carefully selected by our expert production team to ensure a high quality whisky was created.

Mac-Talla has teamed up with Islay locals to raise a glass this Father’s Day. Mac-Talla enlisted local business owners to enjoy a Doorstep Dram with their dads, ahead of this celebratory day on Sunday 20th June 2021.
